Important advice about health and safety prior to settlement

We appreciate that you may want to look at your new home while we are building it. However, building sites are dangerous and are defined in terms of health and safety legislation as a 'workplace'. The builder is therefore legally responsible for the building site as a workplace and must not, by law, allow access to the general public.

The legislation is quite clear and defined within the Health and Safety at Work Act and we are obliged to adhere to this legislation. Any breach of the legislation, intentionally or otherwise, would invalidate our insurance and put lives at risk.

We therefore respectfully request that you do not go onto the development, under any circumstances, without prior agreement or supervision. We will endeavour to make arrangements for you to visit your property at a mutually convenient time to both parties as soon as it is safe to do so.

Queensberry Properties would like to thank you for your co-operation with this matter.
